European ad campaign by Publicis for Zimmer

Zimmer, a worldwide leader in joint replacement solutions for knee and hip pain, needed images associating their product with a major European passion, soccer. Publicis art director Darren Halbig’s concepts had the numbers on the jerseys indicating how many good years you could get out of Zimmer’s products — and the names on the jerseys relating to each product category. We cast actual soccer players who looked like they could be playing in Europe, then assembled the images from multiple shots of players, stadium, sky and field. The ads will run in several European Union countries.
