Chase project: Shoot ATMs, don’t get arrested

Gary Paultre of Bradley & Montgomery gave me the assignment to shoot some of the ATMs that B&M had redesigned for Chase — lighting, logos, etc. — and we came up with this approach: shoot them in low light, use motion-blurred people to populate the images, generally let their beauty shine forth, no tricks required, just some simple location lighting. We shot in Chicago’s Union Station and Millenium Park, among other locations, and managed to get these without a single law-enforcement incident. Not that we weren’t questioned, but we did manage to avoid arrest… The images were used in collateral materials for Chase.
